Tachographs: software updates are now mandatory — and not all of them are free
Two families of second-generation smart tachographs have a software update imposed by the European Commission: VDO DTCO 1381 4.1 since 15 July and Stoneridge SE5000-8.1 since 1 September. They are done at the next workshop visit. Stoneridge pays; VDO charges.
