Somport: closed from 14 September at 16:00 until the 19th at 17:00

Official lorry diversion via the RD936, A64 and A63; times and route corrected.

CP Newsroomupdated on 13 September 2026

Correction of 13/09: the mountain routes and unconfirmed diversion estimates have been removed.

DIR Atlantique is closing the N1134 near the Somport, from Monday 14 at 16:00 to Saturday 19 at about 17:00, for work on the rock face.

Heavy vehicles are diverted from Oloron via the RD936 → A64 → A63 → Spain. Cars use the Somport pass; that too closes on the 15th, from 10:00 to 16:00. Local times.

Check the signs before crossing.
