Serbia postpones the border protest planned for 14 September

The organising association confirmed an indefinite postponement. The confirmation consulted covers Serbia.

CP Newsroomupdated on 13 September 2026

Update of 13/09: the Serbian association Međunarodni transport announced on 11/09 the indefinite postponement of the protest at Serbia’s border and administrative crossings planned for the 14th.

The organisers attribute the decision to progress in the negotiations on visas for drivers, and say they may set a new date if the commitments fall through.

This statement covers Serbia. It does not support the conclusion that other Balkan countries have also called off their actions. Check each border before you travel.

An earlier version of this article presented the coordinated blockade as confirmed; that statement was replaced after checking with the organiser.
