ATMB confirms that the A40 will close between Archamps (junction 13.1) and Annemasse (junction 14), in both directions, on the nights of 23 and 24 September, from 21:00 to 05:00 the next morning, French time. The work allows the protection for the Combe bridge site to be installed.

The Salève services close from 22/09 at 08:00 to 25/09 at 08:00. Anyone planning a run through the Geneva region and the Alps should pick another rest area in advance and adjust the night crossing.

The source does not give a validated diversion suitable for all heavy vehicles here. Follow the signs and check your vehicle’s limits before entering the local network. The schedule may change over time. See also the France driving bans.
