A2 in Austria: closures in different directions near Laßnitzhöhe

Location and diversion corrected. The next works are announced for the night of the 19th to the 20th, towards Vienna.

CP Newsroomupdated on 13 September 2026

Correction of 13/09: the section runs between Gleisdorf-West and Laßnitzhöhe, east of Graz. The diversion via the B67 has been removed, as it had no official backing.

For 12–13/09, the ASFINAG statement of 10/09 set the closure at 20:00–06:00, towards Graz, with through traffic via the S6–S35–A9 and the local U54 diversion.

For 19–20/09, towards Vienna, the original announcement gives 21:00–06:00. The timing of the first night changed after that announcement; confirm the operating hours on the ASFINAG route planner before travelling. This is not a simultaneous closure of both directions.
